It's finally Fall!....NOT
But like really. You open all the windows and doors in the house, grab all your blankets and every "basic" inch of you rejoices; then noon rolls around and you're reminded you live in NC.
I've always had a love hate relationship with buying for this time of the season because really, there is no season, it's like 3 seasons in one, how are you supposed to buy for that?? That's where our obsession with layering comes in. This awkward in-between weather has quickly become one of my favorite times of the year, why? Because you can take advantage of your favorite pieces and trends simultaneously.
Boots and booties with dresses and shorts.
Sweaters and cardigans layered over summer dresses.
Light scarves and big hats with..everything.
The possibilities are endless! Embrace the awkward and get to layering. Here's some of our favorite layered looks with our new arrivals!
Our Gwen Shirt Jacket by Level 99 is our favorite layering piece. The look of a solid jean jacket without all of the bulk and stiffness of the traditional style makes this an absolute must to throw over basically anything.
We also love to layer thick sweaters over dresses and tunics. Wear the dresses normally during the day and layer the sweaters over top into the night when the temperature drops!
